Foresight News reports, according to the Daily Mail, that Russia’s Federal Penitentiary Service has disclosed that Vladimir Dalekin, one of three suspects accused of killing Russian crypto tycoon Roman Novak and his wife, Anna, died in a prison in the UAE last month. Russian media reported that he died of a long-term chronic illness that was not specified, though no health issues had previously been reported. In October 2025, the Novaks were kidnapped and murdered after traveling to Dubai to meet supposed “investors.” The three suspects allegedly posed as investors and demanded Novak’s crypto wallet password. At the time of his disappearance, Novak was under investigation on suspicion of defrauding crypto investors under the guise of business development.
