How can beginners make a profit in crypto?
If you don’t have much capital but want to make money in crypto, there’s one simple way.#zec

Once you’ve mastered this method, you can earn 5%–20% more on your subsequent trades.

Here, I’m sharing what I’ve learned over the past few years of trial and error. I hope it helps you avoid some costly detours.

1. Don’t spread yourself too thin—start with one or two coins
There are as many cryptocurrencies as stars in the sky—dozens, even hundreds. But as small-time investors, we have limited time and money. Don’t try to trade everything. It’s best to focus on just 1–2 coins, or at most 3.

2. Don’t make rash moves when prices are surging or plunging
When the market is soaring, do you start thinking a coin is about to double and feel an overwhelming urge to deposit money and buy, buy, buy? On the flip side, when prices crash, do you panic, think it’s all over, and rush to sell? When things get hectic, it’s easy to make foolish decisions. My advice: when prices are moving wildly, don’t act. Calm down and reassess.

3. Don’t put all your money in—keep a steady mindset
Don’t go all in on crypto. It’s best to keep 30%–50% of your money on hand. That way, you can buy more if prices fall or add to your position if they rise. If you put too much money in, you’ll be happy when prices rise but panic when they fall. Once you lose your composure, your decisions can go off track. Leave yourself some breathing room.

4. Take profits when you’ve made enough. Don’t get greedy, and accept your losses
Set a target for your trades—for example, sell once you’re up 20%, regardless of whether prices keep rising afterward. Many people get stuck because they want to make just a little more. Greed is human nature, but you have to keep it in check. The same goes for losses: set a limit, such as selling if you’re down 10%. Don’t stubbornly hold on. Many trading platforms let you set up automatic buys and sells. Set your prices and let the computer handle it—don’t make decisions in the heat of the moment.

5. Learn some technical analysis instead of relying on what others say
Many people in crypto don’t have a finance background; they might be programmers or homebodies who want to make some money but don’t know much about trading. Rather than listening to other people’s hype, spend a few days learning technical analysis, such as the basics of candlestick charts and moving averages. Having a solid understanding of your own is better than anything else.
