What’s the difference between how Bitcoin and Ethereum keep their books? Don’t worry, your class study rep is here:
Ethereum has two types of accounts: externally owned accounts (EOAs), controlled by private keys, and contract accounts, controlled by code.
In the UTXO model, unrelated transactions can be verified in parallel, and using a new address to receive change also helps protect privacy. The trade-off is that writing complex contracts is less convenient.
My notes are packed with useful insights, and my account is full of lessons I’ve paid dearly for.
