A quick note on a concept—it’s short and takes just a few dozen seconds to read.
What’s the difference between PT and YT on Pendle?
From what I can tell, Pendle’s AMM is specifically designed for PT and takes into account how the price of PT converges toward its maturity value as the maturity date approaches.
The “fixed yield” on PT comes with a condition: you have to hold it to maturity, and the underlying asset must remain sound. If you sell before maturity, its price will also change with market interest rates.
$PENDLE is the native token of Pendle, a yield-tokenization protocol.
