Musk has come up with another new twist on cars!

Tesla’s latest Roadster showcase touted 0–100 km/h acceleration in under one second, along with technology resembling rocket thrusters. The vehicle was even shown flipping, jumping, and landing in the air.

But hold on before you call it a “flying car”!

For now, the only version with a complete flight system is the Rocket edition, which is available by invitation only. The Thrust edition, which ordinary consumers can reserve, comes with thrusters but doesn’t have a complete flight system.

The price barrier is even more eye-popping: reserving the Thrust edition requires a $5,000 deposit, followed by another $245,000 within 10 days—a total of $250,000—to keep your reservation.

The catch? Tesla hasn’t even announced the final price yet.

Production of the car isn’t expected to begin until 2028. Musk has also admitted that safety isn’t the car’s top design priority, and it’s unclear whether it will be legal to drive on public roads everywhere.

📌 What’s really worth paying attention to here isn’t just how flashy Tesla’s latest technology is, but how it’s combining cars, rockets, and extreme performance.

But a technology demonstration doesn’t mean the product is ready, and a huge deposit doesn’t mean the car will be delivered anytime soon.
