$ETH 9 monthly PPI came in above expectations again, and the annual PPI rate was also elevated. Energy prices rose by more than 10% in a single month. Inflation has barely come down, and the market is once again worried that the Fed may not be willing to ease anytime soon.

If the Fed keeps interest rates high, a stronger dollar and rising Treasury yields would continue to weigh on liquidity in risk assets.

$BTC briefly fell below 80,000, hitting a low of around 79,800, before quickly rebounding above 82,000. This sharp V-shaped recovery shows there was real buying support below. After a wave of panic selling, buyers quickly absorbed much of the supply.

As for Ethereum, ETF outflows have continued. However, the previous rebound from the bottom already liquidated a lot of highly leveraged positions. If support below holds, a short-covering rally could still follow.

The biggest fear right now isn't a price drop—it's the market using a rebound to get everyone FOMOing again.
