That candle at $STBL 8 wasn't market action—it was a slaughterhouse.
Gate perpetuals are currently around 0.0253, with the 24-hour change still showing +19%. But the daily high was 0.05381 and the low was 0.02038, with about 7.49 million U in volume. Don't be fooled by that +19%—it's already more than half off the daily high. BTC is around 82,250 over the same period (+1.4%); this token is putting on a show of its own.
The tape is filthy: from the early hours until 6 a.m., hourly volume was just tens to a couple thousand U, and the price was stuck around 0.021. At 7 a.m., a candle came in with about 16,000 U in volume and pushed it to 0.0269. The real script played out at 8 a.m.—about 4.15 million U drove it straight from 0.0268 to 0.05381, then slammed it back to 0.0246 in the same candle, closing at 0.0348. At 9 a.m., another roughly 1.95 million U dumped it to 0.028. After that, volume died off: about 370,000 at noon, and barely over 20,000 now at 1 p.m., with the price hovering around 0.025.
Funding is +0.025% (4h). People are still willing to pay to stay long? Anyone chasing the pump has already been completely cleaned out at the daily high.
My game plan is just three points—take it or leave it:
1. Don't treat 0.025–0.026 as support to buy into. If it grinds sideways on low volume, watch from the sidelines; if volume picks up and it breaks below 0.024, don't play the hero.
2. If you want to short, don't chase the dump. A bounce to 0.028–0.030 offers more room, with a stop if it reclaims 0.034 on volume (around the 8 a.m. close).
3. For a real bullish reversal, wait for it to reclaim 0.034 on strong volume and hold above it. Otherwise, it's just the wreckage of a pump.
For reference, here's my post yesterday about $ZEREBRO : I said not to chase the long upper wick at 6 p.m., and to watch 0.04 if it broke below 0.044. It broke down, and it's now around 0.0398—right not to chase, and it's almost touched the lower target too.
This is just my personal short-term take and is not financial advice.
