I used to think that when TVL went up, the token price would naturally move in the same direction. It took a few losses for me to realize that’s not how it works: one or two whales making a withdrawal can cause the amount locked to swing dramatically, and what’s locked up isn’t necessarily the protocol’s own token.
Now I treat it only as one point of reference and look for sustained changes. How do you see it?
