If you’re an ordinary person with just 300U and not much experience, you can use this approach as a guide. Experienced traders can move on; the rest of this is about how to lose less money learning with a small account.

First, accept this reality: if you buy spot with 300U, even if your assets double, you’ll only make 300U. But with high leverage, even a small move in the wrong direction can quickly wipe out your entire stake.

So, the best way to think of 300U isn't as “capital to turn your life around,” but as a ticket into the market. There’s only one goal: learn about the market at a limited cost while staying in the game for as long as possible.

You can do this in two steps.

1. Keep most of your funds in spot positions for observation

Use only money you can afford to lose entirely, and buy a small amount of $BTC or $ETH. Don’t chase short-term gains; focus on observing how your emotions change when prices rise, pull back, or move sideways.

Watching the charts doesn’t mean you have to trade right away. Pay attention to which is more volatile, BTC or ETH; whether you can hold on during a prolonged downturn; and whether a significant pullback would tempt you to add impulsively to your position.

2. Use no more than 30U to try low-leverage contracts

The point of this 30U isn’t to make money, but to learn how to check the liquidation price, set a stop-loss, and understand how leverage magnifies losses. Keep each loss below 5% of your capital. If you make several wrong calls in a row, stop. Don’t add to your position, and never borrow money to increase it.

High leverage doesn’t increase your odds of winning; it just speeds up the outcome. If you’re right, your account changes quickly. If you’re wrong, you can just as quickly lose the ability to keep participating.

As long as your capital remains, you can keep observing market cycles and reviewing your trades. What 300U can really buy isn’t a chance to get rich overnight, but a low-cost opportunity to learn about the market and yourself.

Suggested next step: Open the BTC and ETH charts today. Just observe their volatility and pullbacks, write down your entry rules, and then decide whether to invest.
