The details were interesting too: ETH was up 3.15%, SOL up 2.97%, while $BTC was up just 1.22%. The big name among the majors was bringing up the rear. INJ shot straight to the top of the gainers’ list with a 23.71% jump. On the futures side, ETH’s long/short ratio was 2.62—longs are getting a little crowded.
My take: this is rotation in a broad-based rally. As long as $BTC holds the 80,000 level, the trend is still bullish; if it drops back below on heavy volume, that view is off the table. The Fear and Greed Index is at 63, just into greedy territory. A bit of self-deprecation: whenever the index used to go above 60, I’d get itchy trigger fingers—and end up paying tuition. This time, I’m keeping my hands tied.
