CPI and PPI both came in hotter than expected. $BTC briefly fell below 80K, hitting a low of 79.8K, but quickly recovered.

Now, around 82K, the market action is actually quite interesting:

Bears already pushed the price down once, but couldn’t keep up the pressure. Bulls haven’t been able to drive it higher either, and trading volume quickly dried up.

Futures funding rates have turned negative, and bears are still adding to their positions, but neither side has the strength to sustain an attack.

More interestingly, ETFs are selling while whales are buying.

Since October 7, BTC ETFs have seen cumulative outflows of around $760 million, but whale holdings have risen to 3.03 million BTC, the highest level since November 2025.

So the key issue right now is:

There’s support from buyers at 80K, but price can’t break through 84K for now.

In the short term, I still expect a range between 80K and 84K.

If 80K holds, we could first see a rebound to 82K–83K. If it breaks decisively below 80K, the next level to watch is 77K.

Don’t rush to short, and don’t go all-in trying to buy the dip.

This looks more like a choppy, gradual decline. Let the market grind sideways for now, and wait until buying and selling pressure truly align.
