Tesla can fly
$TSLA Tesla officially unveiled the next-generation Roadster last night, equipped with SpaceX cold-gas thrusters.

The live demo was explosive: the car could use its thrusters to “fly” briefly, leap over other cars, and even reverse uphill before flipping in midair and landing. Musk called it “the best of the last human-driven cars.”
Official specs: 0–60 mph in a claimed 0.8–1 second, a target top speed of over 230 mph, and a range of about 300 miles. Production is planned for 2028, and reservations are now open.
Although it’s not a flying car that can stay airborne for long, its brief bursts of flight and extreme maneuverability—thanks to the thrusters—are already enough to reshape people’s ideas about what a car can do. Once again, Tesla has taken “science fiction” one step closer to reality.

Stay tuned for updates on production progress and market response.
