🚨 Lesson of the day: a fresh EMA crossover is NOT structure (the $AKE case)
Today I called a LONG on AKE with the 7/25 crossover just confirmed. In the post itself, I warned: fresh and fragile crossover—if it falls apart on the next candle, GG.
Well, it fell apart within HOURS, and the stop got hit at -2.5%. Full transparency.
What I learned on the ugly day I wrote this: a crossover that appears and disappears on the 15M chart is chop until proven otherwise. A crossover that holds for SEVERAL candles and survives the re-check is structure. Everything else is noise dressed up as a setup.
Anyone who posts a perfect chart but never shows the losers: suspicious.
