🛸 CASE FILE #260

Genuine Ledger Wallets. Hidden Hardware. Stolen Crypto.

Ledger says an organized criminal syndicate spent months implanting malicious hardware into authentic crypto wallets to steal users' recovery phrases.

Attackers allegedly modified genuine devices and redistributed them through Southeast Asian resale channels.

Ledger has reportedly ordered a temporary sales halt across authorized distributors in Southeast Asia and Hong Kong.

The company says its secure chips, operating system and internal servers remain uncompromised.

The threat wasn't a fake wallet. It was a real wallet that someone had tampered with.
