📚 Sister Hua leads the way: Understand Chan Theory in 100 Days · DAY 01
The first building block of Chan Theory: the stroke.
Remember it in one sentence:
First find valid tops and bottoms, then connect the two endpoints.
It’s that simple.
🔺 Top → Bottom = downward stroke
🔻 Bottom → Top = upward stroke
But note: you can’t just pick any top and bottom and connect them:
✅ There must be a gap between the top and bottom; they can’t share a candlestick
✅ There must be at least 1 independent candlestick in between
✅ The endpoints must be the highest/lowest points in the range
If even one of these three conditions isn’t met, it’s not a valid stroke.
Once you understand strokes, you’ve truly found your way to the door of Chan Theory.
📌 One chart a day, one pattern at a time.
