As soon as the swap went through, the price I was watching was 2443.24, because the stolen DAI had already been converted into Ethereum $ETH . If these coins are transferred again, I’ll first see whether the price can hold up. A phishing attack drained DAI worth $2 million from an address belonging to Bofur Capital, and the attacker converted it into 825.5 ETH.
Converted doesn’t mean sold. I’ll keep watching to see whether those 825.5 ETH are transferred again or split up. The current price is 2443.24 USDT, up 0.94% in 24 hours. That’s a pretty small gain, so I wouldn’t take it as a sign of strong buying pressure.
If you’ve approved the relevant contracts, check your approvals yourself. Someone else getting robbed isn’t a reason for me to bet on a direction.
