🔥 The Fed is starting to “say less”—could that make Bitcoin harder to trade?
A Reuters report on October 15 is worth paying close attention to in the crypto world.
Warsh is pushing to scale back the Fed’s forward guidance and is even considering changing the quarterly dot plot. The key question is: how many policy clues will markets still be able to glean from the Fed’s statements?
If official signals become less frequent, markets will have to rely more heavily on economic data to judge what comes next.
CPI, PPI, and nonfarm payrolls—each data release could shift expectations for rate cuts or hikes. Add differing opinions among Fed officials, and expectations can easily swing back and forth, potentially amplifying short-term volatility.
And $BTC is particularly hard to shield completely from these macroeconomic effects.
Interest rate expectations affect the cost of capital, while liquidity shapes risk appetite. When markets can’t agree on the Fed’s next move, Bitcoin may swing back and forth in response to the data.
But remember: greater volatility doesn’t mean prices will necessarily go up—or down.
Going forward, rather than guessing what the Fed will do, it’s more important to keep a close eye on inflation, employment, and how markets reprice interest rate expectations.
What do you think? Will the Fed providing less policy guidance make it easier for BTC to make a big move, or will it just make short-term trading harder? 👇#沃什推动缩减前瞻指引和点阵图
