Crypto trivia 📚 Byzantine fault tolerance
Byzantine fault tolerance (BFT) means a system can continue operating normally and remain consistent even when some nodes fail or deliberately lie.
Bitcoin’s proof of work uses competition over computing power to decide who creates the next block, keeping the ledger consistent as long as honest nodes control most of the computing power.
