A while ago, I was just starting out. I was messing around on Facebook when I saw the typical ad: install Binance from the app and earn X USDT, something like that. So I went and downloaded it. Going against my own instincts, I got a Windows warning saying the file was suspicious, but I ran it anyway. Right after that, my mind told me, “You screwed up.” So I immediately disconnected from the internet, restarted the PC in Safe Mode and ran the antivirus at startup. Then I ran it again in Windows. Finally, I reconnected to the internet without opening anything except to update the antivirus and run it two more times the same way, but online. At the same time, I was checking everything on my phone. Luckily, they didn’t touch anything. What I take away from this is that I reacted quickly and cut off its internet access; otherwise, the story might be different today. @Binance BiBi Verify this content with data (I added that last bit as a test, haha)

And testing AI confirmed what I ended up doing. I didn’t mention it, but it can’t hurt to do it ;)
