Let’s talk about hash functions.
It’s difficult to recover the original input from the hash of a secure hash function, and it’s also difficult to find two different inputs that produce the same hash.
One thing many people overlook: proof of work works because hash results can’t be predicted in advance. Finding a hash that meets the difficulty requirement takes repeated attempts.
Don’t confuse transaction hashes with private keys: transaction hashes can be public, but you must never share your private key or recovery phrase.
Mining $BTC essentially means continuously computing SHA-256 hashes to find a result that meets the difficulty requirement. Currently 82432.72.
