$BTC Market sentiment thermometer: Fear & Greed Index at 63 (Greed), up 10 from yesterday.
I used to think the Fear & Greed Index was based on survey results. Later, I learned that it’s calculated mainly from several types of objective data, including price volatility, market momentum and trading volume, social media engagement, Bitcoin’s share of the total market cap, and search trends. Surveys aren’t a major factor.
The same reading can mean very different things in different market conditions, so don’t apply a one-size-fits-all rule.
