Can buying LINK get you Chainlink dividends?
$LINK If someone pays for Chainlink’s services, if I buy LINK, can I also share in the revenue?

First, the conclusion: buying LINK for the treasury does not mean spot holders automatically receive dividends. But that doesn’t mean revenue has nothing to do with the token; the key is how the money is converted.

There is indeed a path from money to LINK.
Chainlink’s official explanation says Payment Abstraction can convert service revenue into LINK and accumulate it into the strategic reserve. Users do not necessarily pay directly in LINK, but revenue can still create LINK demand through this mechanism. Compared with just looking at partnership lists, this is closer to the token’s economic logic.

But “the reserve increases” and “you receive money” are two different things.
The reserve is used to support the network’s long-term development, not to automatically distribute cash or tokens based on how many coins you hold. Staking rewards are a separate participation mechanism, and you should not confuse treasury purchases, spot holdings, and staking yields.

The price impact still depends on scale.
A conversion path does not mean buying pressure is enough to push up the coin price. Actual revenue, reserve growth, circulating supply, and market selling pressure all need to be considered together. This article does not have those period-by-period data, so it will not directly conclude that “there is revenue, therefore it’s time to buy.”

My view: when researching LINK, don’t only ask “who is using Chainlink,” but also ask “how does the payment generated by that usage become token demand.” This path is worth watching, but it is not a promise of guaranteed price gains.
