$AGT surged to 0.042500 but failed to hold there, then gradually recovered over the following two hours. It rose about 3.59% in the latest hour, but trading volume was more than 60% lower than in the previous hour. I’m still taking a wait-and-see approach to this recovery: the earlier one-way acceleration has turned into wide swings, and being top of the gainers list doesn’t disguise the fact that buying support at elevated levels remains unstable.

Before 03:00, the picture was one of slowing momentum after the breakout; at that point, the latest completed hour had closed at 0.036624. It then reached as high as 0.042500 between 03:00 and 04:00, but closed at 0.034152, down about 6.69% from open to close. Between 04:00 and 05:00, it fell further to 0.031333 before recovering to close at 0.034926. The earlier hourly low of 0.034350 was breached, showing that the prior pattern of consecutive higher levels had been interrupted. We shouldn’t focus only on the fact that it later turned green.

There was some improvement between 05:00 and 06:00: it rose from 0.034947 to close at 0.036201, with a low of 0.034666—clearly higher than the previous hour’s low—and it did not revisit the previous hour’s deeper low during the session. This shows that support below is still present, so it would also be too soon to say the rally is over. However, the high was 0.037650, still short of the previous high of 0.037963, and nowhere near a retest of 0.042500. For now, this looks more like a recovery from the pullback than a completed new breakout.

The key question is how much volume this rebound took. Trading volume was about 27.7902 million USDT between 04:00 and 05:00, then fell to 10.6857 million between 05:00 and 06:00, a drop of about 61.55%. That is also about 58% below the 25.4386 million recorded between 02:00 and 03:00, the period cited in the previous piece. A rebound on lower volume could reflect reduced selling pressure, or a lack of willingness to chase the price higher; total volume alone can’t tell us which side was responsible. At the very least, we can’t yet interpret this green candle as evidence that new capital has poured back in on a large scale.

The broader window remains very strong: from 00:00 to 04:00, the completed four-hour candle rose from 0.022054 to 0.034152, a gain of about 54.86%, on roughly 132 million USDT in volume. But it also pulled back about 19.64% from its four-hour high to the close, so a strong gain and a substantial retreat from the highs are both present. The 04:00–08:00 window is only halfway complete, so we can’t directly compare a half-formed four-hour candle with the previous completed one to judge relative strength.

The funding rate settled at 04:00 at positive 0.086549%, up about 0.07456 percentage points from the positive 0.011990% at 00:00. The cost of holding a long position for this period increased, but that doesn’t mean the price must fall next. The historical open-interest series contains anomalous sections, so this piece continues to avoid using the full series to estimate capital inflows. The old Binance futures contract announcement is relevant only to confirm that this is Alaya Governance Token; it should not be interpreted as new positive news behind this rally.

Compared with the previous piece, what’s new is the retreat after the spike, the breach of the previous hourly low, a newly completed four-hour candle, and the funding-rate settlement. If subsequent trading can produce enough volume to leave an hourly close above 0.037963, the recovery will be more convincing. If it falls below 0.034350 again—and especially if it also loses 0.031333—the case for improving support will have to be revised downward. Until one of those developments occurs, I won’t treat the rebound as a direct resumption of acceleration.
