🔴 Russian crypto account alert: Withdrawing from regulated accounts to self-custody wallets is now explicitly prohibited.
Under Article 31(9) of the new law, the rules are strict:
▪️ Regular accounts are not exempt, even for qualified investors
▪️ Transfers between individuals’ custodial addresses have been halted
▪️ The only compliant destination: wallets held by legally authorized foreign custodians
⏳ The countdown to the end of direct P2P trading has begun: it remains permitted until July 1, 2027; after that, transactions must go through authorized intermediaries.
Exceptions remain for foreign trade settlements and mining.
