【TRX has been going sideways for 7 days, and I’m getting itchy fingers】
I’ve been holding TRX, watching it grind up and down for a whole week. 0.3323, back and forth—it can’t seem to climb or fall. Let me tell you, this kind of price action is the most agonizing. If it actually dropped, I’d feel more at ease; I could just sit tight and wait for a rebound. But when it’s stuck in limbo like this, my mind starts running wild: Is it about to break out? Should I add more?
So what did I do? I checked the trading volume and laughed. Pathetically low. This doesn’t look like a breakout at all. It’s just everyone standing around watching, afraid to make a move.
Here’s something else that makes me uneasy: a Nasdaq-listed company on the Tron side plans to raise $200 million through an ATM stock offering and use the money to buy more TRX. Put simply, it’s issuing shares with one hand and accumulating tokens with the other. Sounds impressive, right? But I’ve seen too many stories like this since 2017. A company announces plans to increase its holdings, the market cheers for a while, and then what? The coin keeps falling if it was going to fall.
Why? It’s simple: someone has to buy those newly issued shares, and the buyers use that money to purchase TRX on the secondary market. No one can say for sure how much money actually flows into the market through this cycle. More importantly, this kind of move essentially backs TRX’s liquidity—but if the Tron ecosystem isn’t seeing real user growth and practical applications, how long can buying, buying, and buying keep it afloat?
I’m not saying this logic can’t work, but at least for now, I don’t see a reason to get excited. The Fear and Greed Index is at 53, lower than last week, and you can literally see sentiment cooling off. At a time like this, it’s better to wait for a signal than to guess which way things will go.
Honestly, my biggest takeaway this week is that I’m a little more cautious than I was last week. Not because I’m bearish, but because I can’t see clearly.
What about you? If you’re holding TRX, how are you feeling right now? Waiting for a breakout, or getting ready to bail?
