More importantly, OI is rising along with the price: +0.20% over 15m and +0.16% over 1h. The notional changes are modest, around 330K, but the anomaly percentile has already reached 81.3%, ranking #15 across the pool by notional change. This looks less like short covering and more like new longs testing the waters with leverage.
24h trading volume is 112M, and liquidity is deep enough that a single order won’t send it flying. I’ll keep it on my watchlist for now rather than chase the move, and see if it can hold above the range boundary.
