$SIREN The highs are still climbing, but trading volume is declining hour by hour. The rally has not stopped, but its pace is different from when volume first surged. I’m watching with a bullish bias, but won’t chase higher for now. I’m more interested in whether it can hold the new high into the close, rather than just leave behind an upper wick.

The change became clear from 18:00–19:00 on the 15th: Binance SIRENUSDT perpetual rose from 0.020930 to close at 0.023590, reaching an intrahour high of 0.025720, with about 3.798 million USDT in volume. In the following hour, 19:00–20:00, volume expanded to 10.5248 million, but the price edged down from 0.023590 to close at 0.023390. This shows that there was disagreement even during the first high-volume push; the rally was not entirely unimpeded.

The price picked up again afterward. Over the full four hours from 20:00 to 24:00, it rose from 0.023380 to close at 0.029910, up about 27.93%, with roughly 43.6612 million USDT in volume—well above the 14.8265 million from 16:00–20:00. This stretch pushed both the close and the lows higher. The move had real volume-and-price support, so the entire rally should not be dismissed just because volume later declined.

The concern is the recent slowdown in momentum. Volume was about 18.843 million from 22:00–23:00, then fell to 13.4724 million from 23:00–24:00, about 9.9939 million from 00:00–01:00, and then to 8.5607 million from 01:00–02:00. In the last hour, the price rose from 0.030970 to close at 0.031550, up about 1.87%. Volume was about 14.34% lower than in the previous hour and about 54.57% lower than from 22:00–23:00. Trading is still active, but fresh volume is no longer driving the price forward as forcefully as before.

The latest hour reached a high of 0.032670, above the 23:00 hour’s high of 0.032280, but closed back below both highs. That does not mean a reversal is already underway, but it does show that the new high has not yet held. On the other hand, this hour’s low of 0.030650 was above the previous hour’s 0.028480, so buyers are still stepping in at higher levels. For now, both highs and lows are rising, while there is also some selling at the highs; neither side of that picture should be ignored.

The funding rate settled at a positive 0.014189% at 00:00, up from a positive 0.007158% at 20:00, but the difference alone is not enough to prove a short squeeze or indicate what comes next. Open interest showed a clear anomalous jump from 19:00–20:00, so I’m not using the full series to infer capital flows. The four-hour candle from 00:00–04:00 is also only halfway complete, and the strength or weakness of the latest two hourly candles should not be treated as final four-hour confirmation.

Binance’s original contract announcement confirms that the asset is Siren, with the corresponding BNB Chain contract at 0x997a58129890bbda032231a52ed1ddc845fc18e1; this is not a narrative built around a project with the same name. That listing information dates to 2025, and I have not yet verified any new catalyst that could independently explain this rally, so the focus here is mainly on what the market has already done.

To the upside, watch whether hourly closes can hold above the 0.032280–0.032670 range after a breakout. To the downside, watch for support around 0.030650. If price continues to advance while volume contracts on pullbacks, the move can remain under observation. But if volume picks up again and price only spikes before retreating, or if successive lows start to fail, the bullish assessment should be toned down. A slower advance is acceptable; the more concerning change would be needing much more volume and still being unable to push price higher.
