【TRX is moving sideways— is it gathering strength or playing dead?】
The price today is $ 0.3314, about $ 0.335 a week ago, and around $ 0.34 a month ago.
Notice anything? At three different points in time, the price barely moved. But do you know what changed? Trading volume.
TRX right now is like someone stacking chips at a poker table but not placing a bet.
I saw a piece of news yesterday and didn't think much of it. I took another look today, and it seems kind of interesting: a company on the Tron side went public on Nasdaq and set up a $200 million stock offering specifically to buy TRX.
So I have to ask: can this actually happen?
Imagine you're the Tron treasury. You already hold nearly $240 million worth of TRX, then you raise money by issuing shares and use that money to buy even more TRX—isn't that just moving money from one pocket to the other? Spending U.S. stock investors' money to buy a coin you issued yourself.
But look at it another way: the guy isn't stupid. If he's willing to do this, what does that tell us? It means he believes TRX hasn't peaked yet, and thinks it can rise enough in the future to cover all these costs.
It's the classic "I know you think I'm playing with thin air, but I know what I'm doing" move.
Honestly, I haven't seen anything especially unusual in the on-chain data. The big holders aren't leaving, and exchange net flows haven't surged noticeably either. The price is just moving sideways, which means the time hasn't come yet.
My take: this kind of sideways movement isn't about gathering strength; it's more like waiting for a catalyst. Without supportive news, it's hard for TRX to push higher on its own.
What's your mindset right now? Are you willing to make a move this time? I admit I'm itching to, but I haven't jumped in this time.
