Canada’s Overseas Crypto Transfers Rise 141% $BTC remains one of the assets used in a growing flow of crypto transfers from Canada to other countries. In the first half of 2026, Canadians sent $2.36 billion in crypto overseas, according to Chainalysis - 141% more than during the same period in 2025. What stands out is the size of the individual transfers. The average was only $663, pointing to a large number of relatively small transactions rather than a few institutional-sized movements. India, China and the Philippines were among the main destinations, while stablecoins are also becoming more common for these transfers. Canada recorded the highest crypto transfer activity per capita among G7 countries. The report also notes that 23% of Canada’s population is foreign-born, which may partly explain why cross-border crypto flows are especially visible. Against that backdrop, a 1-year BTC chart adds useful context: it shows how Bitcoin’s market value has moved while crypto has continued developing another use case outside trading moving relatively small amounts of value across borders. #BTC Price Analysis# #Bitcoin Price Prediction: What is Bitcoins next move?#
