📚 LET’S LEARN TOGETHER 🧠🤓: The math that makes you profitable: How to master the Risk/Reward Ratio

Many beginners believe that becoming a profitable trader requires getting 80% of their trades right. The reality is different: profitability in crypto isn’t about always being right, but about how much you make when you’re right versus how much you lose when you’re wrong. This is called the Risk/Reward Ratio (R:R).

See how to structure a minimum 1:2 ratio using this 4-hour (4H) Bitcoin chart ($BTC ):

✅ Define your Stop Loss (Risk): With the current price trading at $82,172.02 after that major bearish rejection, if you decide to trade with the momentum, a tight, technical Stop Loss would go below the dynamic support of the EMA 7 ($81,815.31). That distance represents your unit of risk (1R).

✅ Set your Take Profit (Reward): To meet the rule, your first target should be at least twice that distance above your entry. In this case, it lines up perfectly with the resistance at the EMA 25 at $82,558.24 and the Bollinger Middle Band at $82,641.88.

✅ The golden rule: If the chart doesn’t offer a clear path to resistance that’s at least twice the distance you’re risking toward support, don’t take the trade.
