Mars Finance reports that Nasdaq-listed TRX treasury company Tron has filed paperwork with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to establish a new at-the-market stock offering program, allowing it to sell up to $200 million in common stock to fund a larger TRX treasury. According to a prospectus supplement filed Wednesday, Tron may periodically sell common stock with a par value of $0.0001 per share through Clear Street, acting as its agent. Clear Street will receive a commission of up to 3% of the gross proceeds. The existing TRX accumulation plan, announced by the company in February this year, calls for it to buy approximately $50,000 worth of TRX every day for 360 consecutive days. On Thursday, Tron bought 149,369 TRX at an average price of $0.3347. Its treasury now holds a total of 718.9 million TRX, worth approximately $237 million. The company's shares opened down 4.7% the same day, extending their roughly 67% decline over the past 12 months.
