🔥BlackRock’s crypto assets surged 63%, but the truth surprised many people!
By the end of September, BlackRock’s digital asset holdings had soared from $48.8 billion to $79.6 billion, a 63% increase. But a closer look at the data shows that only a quarter came from new client money; the remaining three-quarters was driven entirely by rising token prices.

Over the past 12 months, clients made net inflows of $6.3 billion, while the market downturn wiped out $30.6 billion in market value. Crypto currently accounts for a negligible share of BlackRock’s overall revenue.
With the market now turning downward, the biggest question is whether inflows can continue during the price correction. If buying demand remains strong, that would be a real long-term positive.
