🚨 Are hardware wallets in trouble too?
Ledger suspends sales in multiple regions, while Trezor slashes its distributor network!
On October 13, Ledger asked distributors in Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Hong Kong to suspend sales and delist its products while it investigates an incident involving tampered devices.
Meanwhile, Trezor announced a major reduction in its distributor network, with some authorizations set to end on January 1, 2027.
⚠️ Note: There is currently no evidence that Trezor devices have been compromised, and Ledger says it has found no evidence of breaches in its official systems or direct sales channels. Supply chain risks do not mean that all hardware wallets are unsafe!
🔥 Regular users: remember these 3 things:
✅ Buy through official channels whenever possible
✅ Never screenshot, upload, or tell anyone your recovery phrase
✅ Suspicious device source? Verify it before you use it!
