I'll keep watching 80458, for a simple reason: Bitcoin $BTC is currently at 80458.01, down 2.93% over 24 hours, and U.S. Bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows of 3,209 coins today and 5,250 over the past 7 days. Ethereum $ETH ETFs saw net outflows of 38,915 coins today and 133,537 over the past 7 days. That’s much more striking than the Bitcoin figures, but unfortunately the update doesn’t give ETH’s current price, so for now I can only compare the outflows with BTC’s decline. Of the 5,250 coins that flowed out over 7 days, 3,209 left today alone—a large chunk of the past week’s outflows was concentrated in this single day. I’m inclined to view this first as a signal of funds reducing their positions, not as evidence that the price has already bottomed.
For these outflows, do you care more about the one-day figure or the 7-day figure?
