🚨 BTC nears $80,000! U.S. PPI surges 1.3%—is this downturn not over yet?

$BTC latest quote: around $80,954, down 2.14% in 24 hours, with a low of $80,226.

Just a few days ago, the market was talking about breaking above $84,000. Now, people are starting to worry whether $80,000 can hold.

Tonight, the U.S. released September PPI: up 1.3% month over month and 6.3% year over year, showing a clear rise in inflationary pressure at the production level.

Fund flows aren't looking good either.

On 10/14, U.S. spot BTC ETFs saw net outflows of $261.4 million, reversing the net inflows from the previous trading day.

My view: BTC's real problem isn't how much it has fallen, but the lack of evidence that sustained buying is supporting a rebound.

Here's what I'm watching next:

🔴 $81,500–$82,500: The resistance zone BTC needs to reclaim for a rebound.

🟢 $80,000: A key psychological level. If it breaks decisively, BTC could test $78,000–$79,000.

But I won't assume BTC will definitely break below $80,000. If it can reclaim and hold above $82,500, the short-term bearish outlook will need to be revised.

My conclusion: Instead of rushing to call the bottom, it's better to first see whether the market can truly stop falling.

💬 Do you think BTC will break below $80,000 first, or rebound and get back above $82,500?
