Turned 2,400U into 170,000U with zero liquidations—just three simple tricks

A while ago, I coached a total beginner who started with 2,400U and grew it to 97,000U in a month. Now they’re steadily above 170,000U. The key? Not a single liquidation.

Some people call it luck, but luck doesn’t last two months. It comes down to three principles. They’re the same ones I used to turn my own 7,000U around back then.

1. Split your capital to stay in the game
Don’t go all in. Put 700U toward day trades, one trade a day, and get out when your target is hit. Use 700U for swing trades and wait for the big move. Keep 1,000U as untouchable reserves. It’s not the market that takes you out when you’re fully invested—you’ve cut off your own escape route. You have to stay in the game to have a chance at winning.

2. Don’t trade blindly—only go after the big moves
The crypto market spends 80% of its time chopping around. Trading in and out every day just means paying fees. When the market is range-bound, I sit tight. I only step in when the trend is clear: $BEAMX. I also have a hard-and-fast rule: once profits exceed 20% of my starting capital, I immediately withdraw 30% and convert it to U. Only profits you’ve secured are truly yours. Making real money isn’t about trading every day—it’s about seizing an opportunity, taking a big bite, and getting out.

3. Treat yourself like a machine
When your stop-loss hits 2%, cut the position. At 4% profit, take half off. Never add to a losing trade. Set your rules in advance, then follow them without hesitation. Making money is actually pretty boring—set a take-profit order and let the profits run on their own.

Turning 2,400 into 170,000 wasn’t about some magical move. It was about locking down risk and letting profits compound over time. The simple methods are often the most effective.
