According to CNBC, Cboe Global Markets will extend trading hours on Monday for options on 24 of the most actively traded stocks and five exchange-traded funds, adding sessions from 7:30 a.m. to 9:25 a.m. ET and from 4:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. ET. The move follows approval by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in May and includes companies such as the “Magnificent Seven,” Oracle, Micron, Robinhood, Nokia, Palantir, Pfizer and Alibaba, along with SPY, QQQ, IWM, GLD and XLF. Cboe said the list will be updated twice a year, adding that premarket options trading reached a record average of 228,097 contracts per day last quarter. The extended-hours trading program is another step toward round-the-clock trading, and Cboe also plans to list additional morning expiration dates on November 9. Separately, on Tuesday, the exchange received SEC approval to offer binary options linked to company-specific benchmark indices.$QQQB $SPYB
