💡 Binance just handed options traders a “license to collect rent”

Officially announced just now: the platform has launched two options income strategies for sellers—

Covered Call: Hold shares and sell a call option to collect the premium—like earning rent while you sit back.

Cash-Secured Put: If you want to buy in at a lower price, sell a put option. If the price stays above the strike, you keep the premium for free; if it falls below, you buy in at your preferred price.

In other words: you can make money even when the market moves sideways, without watching the charts all day and guessing which way prices will go.

Three extra perks:

Limit orders only—slippage traders, stay away.

Settlement of the underlying shares is handled by broker Alpaca on behalf of Binance users—a professional setup.

Before trading, you have to pass an options suitability quiz and sign a risk agreement. Fail the test and you can't play. That’s pretty responsible.

Honestly, selling options is like being an insurance company: if the price rises above the strike, you miss out on the upside; if it falls below your buy-in price, you could be left holding the bag. Don’t get so dazzled by the premiums that you forget the risks.
