Origins: unconfirmed. The name seems to be riding on the old WIF meme, but I couldn't find any connection between the two. The AI summary on the trending topics list gives a direct warning: dopewif tokens with the same name are being issued rapidly, and reliable information is lacking.
My take: watch, don't chase. A meme coin on-chain with a million-dollar market cap can be pumped with just tens of thousands of dollars—and can also be driven to zero in a single candle.
