An Ordinary Person’s Investment Growth Journal | Day 162: New coin DNA tomorrow at 16:00!

I. Web3
1️⃣ No surprise attack today. On-chain data shows there’ll be a new coin tomorrow at 16:00. That’s TGE time—have they changed the game?

2️⃣ The U-denominated high-yield savings promotion has been successfully extended for another month. It starts today, with a 6% yield. Those with spare funds can take part.

3️⃣ The StandX team announced that there will be no TGE. I’d been involved in this project for over a year, and now it’s just over. It’s pretty upsetting. I’d been expecting to make a profit, but instead I ended up losing money. The few hundred U in fees were real money out of my pocket, not to mention the time and effort. To put it kindly, the team is taking advantage of retail investors—but more seriously, where will the returns on our investment come from? If this is how things are, how can anyone keep playing in this industry?

II. Hong Kong IPO Subscriptions
1️⃣ Shouxihu Cultural Tourism officially launched. The deadline is October 20. A detailed analysis is on my public account.

1️⃣ Fear & Greed Index: 49, neutral. AHR999 Index: 0.52, suitable for dollar-cost averaging. $BTC price: 80000; $ETH price: 2300; $BNB price: 720. 1. Market: After U.S. inflation data came in higher than expected and market expectations for interest rate hikes increased, BTC plunged in the short term, dipping to around $80,700 at its lowest. ETH fell even more, with its maximum 24-hour decline exceeding 5%, as major coins pulled back across the board. As of the early hours of October 15, approximately $942 million in leveraged positions across the crypto market were liquidated over 24 hours. Long positions accounted for $863 million, or 91.6%, indicating concentrated liquidations among bulls. ETH was hit hardest, with $283 million in liquidations for that coin alone. The total crypto market cap fell back to around $2.76 trillion, down 4.96% in 24 hours. Altcoins broadly declined, and market risk appetite cooled rapidly.

2️⃣ On Tuesday, October 14, U.S. Eastern Time, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows of $261 million in a single day, completely wiping out the previous day’s net inflows. Fidelity’s FBTC was the main source of outflows, with $153 million in net outflows for the day. Only Bitwise’s BITB saw a small net inflow of $2.2154 million. Spot ETH ETFs also saw net outflows of approximately $130 million that day, and weekly fund flows weakened again.
