Knowledge Card: Tokenomics
Bitcoin has a total supply cap of approximately 21 million coins. New coins can only be issued through block rewards, and the issuance rate is halved every 210,000 blocks.
Circulating supply refers to the number of tokens currently freely tradable on the market. Tokens that are still locked or have not yet been released are not included in the circulating supply.
Don’t look only at the unit price. A low unit price doesn’t mean a low valuation; consider it together with the circulating supply.
$ETH has no fixed total supply cap, but some transaction fees are burned, so its supply increases or decreases depending on on-chain usage.
