🇺🇦 Ukraine: On the roads of the East, the threat of drones is everywhere

In the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine, getting around has become a real exercise in survival. Faced with attacks from Russian FPV drones, civilians—farmers, foresters, bus drivers and paramedics—are now equipping themselves with detectors that can signal when drones are nearby.

🛰️ Roads are covered with anti-drone nets, gas stations are protected by wire mesh, and some residents adjust their travel plans according to the weather to reduce the risks.

Despite these precautions, the danger remains constant. Drone warfare is profoundly transforming the daily lives of civilians and poses an ongoing threat to those simply trying to work, get around or help others.

Modern warfare is no longer confined to the front line: it is reshaping every journey, every activity and every moment of daily life.
