Let's review $ETH together.
When I analyzed the market on the 12th, I had already marked out the three key levels for the pullback, and I also said in the group that you could scale in gradually.
The broader market started falling under the influence of last night's CPI data. Ethereum hit a low near 2315 today, while altcoins fared even worse.
At this level, we may see a short-term bounce, but don't assume that a bounce means the bottom is in.
The weekly chart structure hasn't fully improved yet. The second level, around 2000, is still the one I'm watching most closely.
I also said on Monday that I'm still bullish on the broader trend, and the year-end rally is worth looking forward to. But before then, the market may still have to go through a fairly deep correction.
Take a look: quite a few older altcoins have already risen to weekly resistance. If they’re really going to break through, they’ll definitely need to absorb some selling pressure along the way. Prices can't keep rising forever.
On top of that, capital flows and the price action of $BTC still need to be monitored, so there's no need to rush right now.
This drop was entirely within expectations. Be cautious in the short term, but there's no need to panic in the medium to long term.
If prices really fall to a key level, we'll see how the market responds and consider scaling in gradually. The key level to watch for $BTC is around 7.5w–7.6w.
Keep some positions open. Don't panic at every dip or chase every bounce. Hold on to some cash so you can take the initiative when an opportunity comes along.
