#Bastion pressures SkyAI over SOL sale

An old dispute in the SOL ecosystem has come to light.
A major shareholder is pressing a Nasdaq-listed company for answers.
The company is called SkyAI.
Just a month ago, it described itself as a SOL treasury company.

The numbers don’t add up.
In mid-September, it disclosed that it held more than two million SOL.
That was worth over $200 million.
But in a filing dated October 13, only 600,000 tokens remained.
In one month, its holdings fell by 70%.

The details of the sale have also raised questions.
On-chain data shows it sold one million tokens, raising $107 million.
Its average purchase price was $194 per token.
That means it lost more than $160 million on the trade.
The whereabouts of another 400,000 tokens remain unexplained.

Bastion, which holds about 10% of the shares, has had enough.
It is demanding disclosure of the date and price of every sale.
It also wants the buyback price raised from $3 to $3.50.
If no agreement is reached, it won’t participate in this tender offer.

For crypto, when a treasury company starts cashing out,
steady holdings turn into selling pressure.
