Today, some of my BTC limit orders filled at 80,666.
Some of my ETH orders also filled at 2,388.
BTC is around 81,200, so I’m slightly in profit; ETH is around 2,368, so I’m temporarily down a little.
BTC has fallen nearly 3%, and ETH has dropped even more. The Fear and Greed Index is still neutral.
So my view for what comes next is simple: as long as BTC can hold around 80,000, I’ll hold for now and see how things develop.
I’m not in a hurry to chase a rally, and I won’t panic-sell just because of one bearish candle.
If BTC gets back above 82,500–83,000 and holds there instead of quickly dropping back, that would suggest there’s still room for a short-term recovery.
But if it clearly breaks below 80,000, I’ll focus on managing my position rather than adding more and stubbornly holding on.
ETH in particular is clearly more volatile than BTC. Getting filled at 2,388 doesn’t mean that’s the bottom. First, I’ll see whether it can get back above 2,400 before deciding what to do next.
The most important thing right now isn’t guessing whether BTC will rise right away, but having a plan in place for my trades.
If it rises, I won’t chase it by adding more; if it falls, I won’t add blindly; if weakness is confirmed, I’ll focus on protecting my capital.
You don’t have to buy at the absolute bottom every time you trade. Managing risk is what matters most.
