US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds returned to net outflows for the week on Wednesday as BTC fell below $82,000, with the category posting about $262 million in withdrawals after a day of inflows. According to Cointelegraph, the latest move reversed $176 million in inflows recorded the previous day and lifted this week’s net outflows to $151 million through Wednesday, following $681 million in net outflows last week. The selling pressure came as Bitcoin extended its decline after slipping below $82,000 following Wednesday’s US inflation report, and the cryptocurrency was trading at about $80,741 at the time of publication, down 3.2% over the past 24 hours, according to CoinGecko.

ETFs tied to Ether, Solana and Zcash also remained under pressure through Wednesday, while XRP funds moved against the broader trend. According to Cointelegraph, Ether ETFs saw around $130 million in outflows on Wednesday, bringing weekly withdrawals to $190 million after $542 million in net outflows last week and $138 million the week before. Solana ETFs recorded $1.3 million in outflows on Wednesday, extending their losing streak to eight trading sessions and bringing weekly withdrawals to $3 million. Zcash ETFs attracted $3.7 million on Wednesday but still showed $3.2 million in net outflows for the week. XRP ETFs were the only tracked category to post positive flows this week, drawing about $740,000 on Wednesday and bucking the broader outflow trend.
