$SKHYNIX plunged from 1261 to 940, and the waterfall decline isn’t over yet!

Guys, Hynix’s price action is already telling us everything. It broke below 1200, failed to hold 1045, and has now plunged to around 935. After breaking through support levels one after another, what does a little bounce at 940 mean? At most, the bears are tired from selling, giving the bulls a moment to catch their breath.

What’s more troubling is that industry news is still weighing on sentiment. CXMT’s progress in DRAM technology has sparked concerns about intensifying competition, and there are also market rumors that orders for HBM4 back-end equipment could be delayed. Add hotter-than-expected CPI and rising interest-rate expectations, and valuations across the AI supply chain will need to be reassessed.

The most interesting thing is that even after such a steep drop, funding rates on some contracts are still positive, meaning the bulls are still paying to hold on. With prices weak and positions not fully flushed out, any rebound in this market structure could easily run into selling pressure again.

My view is clear: **I’m still bearish, but I wouldn’t chase the drop around 935.**

Look for shorting opportunities in the 1000–1045 rebound zone. The first target is 935; if that breaks, look toward 900. If it gets back above 1045 and holds, don’t stubbornly hold on.

Don’t rush to buy the dip just because the price has fallen so much. Until the trend reverses, cheap can always get cheaper.
