$HIVE has been one of the oldest legacy forked blockchain with alot of potentials but some little entity held the blockchain hostage that was why even with all the scaling and superior developments going on chain price still continues to bleed proving that sometimes you might have a good product but if your policy is back you won't get users. No one would want to invest in a project where other investors can come after your yield, that was why Vc's and other institutional investors never came to hive.
