#bastion就sol出售向skyai施压
【Old Leek Watch】Once holding over 2 million $SOL , now down to just about 600,000! Major shareholder Bastion is demanding answers from SkyAI: Where exactly did the coins go?
This is worth examining more closely than a simple whale sell-off. SkyAI had repeatedly emphasized its Solana reserve strategy, disclosing in mid-September that it held over 2 million SOL. But in its latest filing on October 13, the company reported that its remaining holdings were about 600,000—a drop of roughly 70% in just a month or so.
That raises the question: SkyAI previously said it had sold about 1 million SOL, yet subsequent filings showed its holdings falling further, to around 600,000. When was the remaining amount sold, at what price, and where did the proceeds go? Public disclosures have not provided a full explanation.
Bastion, which holds about 9.99% of SkyAI’s shares, has therefore taken action: it is demanding disclosure of the transaction details, a board restructuring, and an increase in the buyback offer from $3 per share to at least $3.50. Bastion says it will not participate in the current buyback offer until the matter is resolved.
The most important takeaway for SOL is that the corporate crypto-hoarding strategy is being put to the test. If a company buys coins to hold for the long term, but then sells a large amount of SOL to buy back its own shares, investors have to reconsider whether it is managing a crypto-asset reserve or adjusting its capital structure.
