$MSTR fell to 141.96, down 8% in a day, plunging from 155 to 138.5. That was one decisive bearish candle. A lot of people still buy it as a shadow of Bitcoin, but today it fell much harder than BTC itself, suggesting the market is reassessing its premium valuation.

I’d avoid rushing to buy the dip at this level. 138.5 is today’s floor and a key support level for the short term. Whether it can hold is crucial; if it breaks, there’s likely another leg down, given the huge cost basis and financing structure it carries. The 145–148 range is where heavy trading took place over the past couple of days—if it rebounds there, I’d trim my position.

If I were to trade it, I’d wait for volume to dry up and the price to stabilize around 138.5. I’d put my stop-loss below 135 and wouldn’t try to ride out a further drop. At its core, this stock is a leveraged BTC proxy, so amplified volatility is the norm. Position sizing matters more than predicting direction. Once TradFi markets start trading 24/7, its correlation with spot BTC will only get tighter…
